Beautiful Day At Gorpley

Whilst most of us in Todmorden live in a deep crack in the earth, sheltered from the elements, we are surrounded by beautifull rugged pennine hills and we need to know how to grow there too, its where the land is!
This 4 acre field has been loaned to us to create a garden,wonderful day
We are hand digging a 4m x 20m patch for a crop of spuds which will clear the land for other things next season.
Some don’t know their own striength!
