Eating the town! Bordeaux spinach
Posted: Sunday June 14, 2009 by Nick in Blogs
Bordeaux spinach, here it is, in the planters on Feilden Wharf. Maroon stems and triangular green leaves.
We planted it because of the pretty colours, its a new one to us, but its grown like crazy and turns out to be a taste sensation.

Break off the top 6-9” of stem and cook the lot.

I stir fried mine briefly with olive oil and heaps of garlic.
Blimey oh riley, what a winner, nutty, sweet, tender, exquisite!
