IET recognised as Quality Assured Partner Provider
Last update: 13.01.12 First posted: 13.01.12 by Pauline in Learning PlateYesterday we were invited to Haughton House in Halifax to be presented with our certificate to say we are a Quality Assured Partner Provider for Adult Learning in Calderdale.

David Whalley, Assistant Director For CMBC presented the certificates and spoke very warmly of the work we do in Todmorden

It was good to be able to report that we have exceeded our target numbers for our adult learning programme so far – between September and December we were supposed to target 365 learners – we actually had over 700 people attend our events.
It was also good to meet with other learning providers too. Next week I am meeting with the woman responsible for family learning learning in Calderdale to discuss how we can offer progression opportunites for our community
