Incredible Todmas Market This Evening
Last update: 11.12.10 First posted: 10.12.10 by John in ProduceThis evening Chris, Lynne and I went to Todmorden market. It was late night shopping in town and we were looking for presents and exciting different things to eat over Christmas. Food that had been produced locally sold by local traders; decorations made by IET volunteers and our friends from Tod in Bloom. Everyone seemed in a good mood – it was thawing after some pretty chilly nights. We had a great evening buying all kinds of locally produced food (cheeses, pies of all kinds, cakes), beer and decorations.

New volunteer Mark and Debby set out their stall as Chris stashes away her purchases – before the mulled wine.

So much to choose from when in the party mood.

IET’s Lynne choosing on the local pork producer’s stall.

These eggs and diary products haven’t travelled too far.

The children’s choir were a great entertainment.

Discovering the delights of Mark’s pomander.

Mary and Debby checking the takings maybe?
