Tracking down Steve, the bird man of Kershaw road, Walsden, wasn’t easy. Cunningly disguised as a shed full of budgies, steve’s quail empire was hidden, but we only had to ask and he gave us a tour.

Well it may only be a small empire, but steve’s 2 hen quails last year produced more eggs than he could handle, now he has 6. We will be adding him to the egg map, what next? Duck-billed platypus?
