“After the recent successful Black Gold Compost give away in August we are planning to do some more, the compost is recycled from the streets and Parks of Calderdale and we need to create some space ready for leaf fall this autumn.
Last week we distributed 830 Tons within Calderdale on allotments and a land reclamation project at Exley Cemetery.
I am planning for another Free compost event at
Milner Royd on Saturday 18 th September 10 – 3 and then a compost Weekend another on Saturday 25th September at Raistick next to Allotments at Chapel

and Christ Church School Sowerby Bridge where mini Big Heaps are
being distributed by Britain in Bloom groups and Schools.”
