New Hens for Mary’s Big Lad

All is happy in the big boys house.

I have got two more hens to keep the big fellow happy.

The new girls were very afraid to come out of the house for a day
and a half. It has been lovely to see them pecking and scratching and
doing real chicken stuff.
Their feet are a bit deformed maybe from standing on wire grids ,
Nick said “don’t worry they are not going to run a marathon” they fell
off the perch the first night, now they can sit tight.
The new girls are black rocks weird because they are half brown!
They don’t lay yet and need a bit more TLC.
Not a bad word from any about the cocks crowing , I love it .
