Outta Place’s project for the first year is Outta Seed.
Here is what Outta place say about this exciting new initiative…..
Outta Seed is our first major project as a newly formed social enterprise- We will deliver this project with support from the Young Peoples Service. This project has three facets…The first phase or ‘phase one’ begins at the Easter school holidays. This phase is essentially a consultation exercise in the form of taster sessions for the youth of Halifax and the Upper Calder Valley. Young people will then go on to inform ‘phase two’; in depth workshops, taking place in the Summer holidays. The final phase or ‘phase three’ will be the showcases, we will roll out the “Battle on the Park’ format- please see the blog for more information. This will be an opportunity for young people to display and share their new skills. Young people can also obtain accreditation in the form of the Arts Award.
Incredible Edible are providing the snacks for the youth this Easter, we thank them for this… shall be tasty no doubt!
Outta Place is a new not-for profit youth arts organisation, driven by the notion that arts can create cultural shifts in our society. Outta Place was founded by Clare Donegan in November 2009. For more information or to get involved contact Clare

IET are happy to be a small part of this youth project.
