Winter Wartime warming puddings
With the last of the leaves whirling from the trees, my thoughts start to turn to hot puddings served with thick yellow custard. Here are a selection of pudding recipes from Todmorden in 1944, including one for a wartime Christmas pudding, although it does warn that it won’t keep longer than a week, so don’t make it until the last minute!
