Incredible Edible Calderdale
Posted: 13.02.12 by EstelleRobin Tuddenham, Director for Safer and Stronger Communities says:
“We want to spread the Incredible Edible spirit across the whole of Calderdale. This is a genuine grass roots project that connects people to the process of food production, enabling them to grow fresh, cheap food for all to enjoy. I want to build on the fantastic work in Todmorden and create a ‘grow your own’ revolution.”
So how do you get started? There are three types of licence: Container, Orchard and Plot of Land, and by paying a £10 fee and agreeing to a simple set of terms and conditions, permission can be granted to grow herbs, plants and trees on plots of land which have previously been underused. Please contact Mags Bryson by email to mags.bryson@calderdale.gov.uk or call 01422 393182.
