Incredible Edible Calderdale

Robin Tuddenham, Director for Safer and Stronger Communities says:

“We want to spread the Incredible Edible spirit across the whole of Calderdale. This is a genuine grass roots project that connects people to the process of food production, enabling them to grow fresh, cheap food for all to enjoy. I want to build on the fantastic work in Todmorden and create a ‘grow your own’ revolution.”
So how do you get started? There are three types of licence: Container, Orchard and Plot of Land, and by paying a £10 fee and agreeing to a simple set of terms and conditions, permission can be granted to grow herbs, plants and trees on plots of land which have previously been underused.
