It’s a funny old thing, Pam wrote on yorkshirefutures – but despite the fact that most of us are well aware that climate change is kicking in and will without doubt be one of the most challenging issues for us and particularly our children in the future, there’s not a lot of evidence on the street that we are doing very much about it. OK so we don’t know exactly when nor do we know exactly what, but we sure know that all the science points to significant rises in temperature, extreme weather events and all the spin offs around food production and the ability to survive both for our species and many, many more.
The must read article goes on to explain how we needed to encourage a shift towards a more responsible use of our natural resources, nature’s life support system, instead of waiting for everyone else to do something first. We wanted to stop being victims and start building a safer, stronger future for our kids.
