Major land development and management

At Walsden, south of the town of Todmorden but also part of Tod, we’re developed (in the winter of 2010/11) a big patch of donated land. A rabbit-proof fence surrounds a growing area, including a polytunnel, ponds and beds. is now established as growing and learning centre, more here

We intend this site to become a resource not just for growing, but for study and learning, and as a seed-bed for business opportunities as well as veg and trees!

Up at Gorpley by some major digging we have developed a major hilltop spudarium. There’ll be masses more potatoes this year for crisp machines, all kinds of soup and bakers beyond your wildest dreams (we hope).
