What's Cooking In Tod?
Local food means fresher food – tastier food – and you know where it’s come from.
We want our campaign to help encourage healthier eating. That’s why our Lottery bid (see Fishy food hub) includes a Food Inspirer to promote education in cooking and nutrition.
We’re putting together a book’s worth of recipes using local ingredients. Find them in the blog What’s Cooking In Tod?. They range from Quince Jelly and Busy Woman’s Sausage Stew to good old-fashioned rhubarb crumble. Do add your own recipe: send it to Helena at hccook@btinternet.com.
Plus we plan to run some courses on catching killing and cooking wild beasties. If you can help with any aspect of that, or want to express interest in attending a course contact Helena.
