A great May third Sunday
Last update: 22.05.17 First posted: 22.05.17 by Estelle in Blogsvolunteers worked on both Pollination Street
and the health centre
before returning for an incredible vegan lunch
back at the Unitarian, We were joined for lunch by a group of Quakers who hot-footed it to Tod after their meeting in Hebden Bridge.
We needed to set two lines of tables so we could all mix in, volunteers and guests alike. Lunch was a vegan chilli with trimmings and a cooling cucumber raita made with soy yoghurt. After lunch, we set off on a tour, we hadn’t gone far when we were overtaken by the incredible Adam Entwhistle bearing gifts, he gave some of our visitors strawberry and rosemary plants to keep on the proviso that they pot up some of the runners and cuttings from the rosemary and pass them on to others.
We then carried on around the town stopping for a photo opportunity on Pollination Street green.
An all round incredible day
Don’t forget our facebook page, its public so you don’t need to join facebook to read it
