Getting Community Orchards back into the Community

Seven or eight years ago Incredible Edible Todmorden consulted local residents and planted hundreds of fruit trees all over Todmorden so that local communities could grow and harvest their own fruit, even if they had no outdoor space of their own to grow trees.

As time has passed, many of these communities have forgotten or lost touch with the lovely trees just around the corner from their homes and their potential to provide tasty and free fruit each year.
