Incredible Erasmus learning day

October 27th we hosted an Erasmus group, 38 children from 3 different countries, France, Rumania and Todmorden.

First Mary did a presentation for them,

then we put them to work in the church making a stone chip path

after a lunch of meat pie or cheese and onion pie both served with mushy peas afters was scones with jam and cream, it was back to work, plus a trip up the tower.
we had pumpkin carving while we put up the tent to cook in.

then the groups went shopping to buy ingredients to make a national dish from there home country. while some prepped and cooked

For the evening we showed the French Film Demain (tomorrow) in French with English subtitles, we really hope they enjoyed their day
