Visitors from Liverpool bring sunshine

It’s been a really lovely incredible day, our visitors from Liverpool brought the sun with them.
We started at the Unitarian where brew in hand they sat down and listened to a talk by Mary who told them the story of IET, how it all started and why we do what we do.
Then we set off on a Tod town tour, chatting away we went along the canal and through the health centre, and on to Pollination Street where the green was busy with picnickers
 busy space
and the sky was unusually blue, we need to keep this green space
amazing blue sky over Tod green
into the market hall we go where lots of Pextenement Cheese is
bought from the Crumbly Cheese to go back to Liverpool

and pork pies from Ham corner, eaten too fast for a photo.
On to the Police station and the sun still shone,
It’s such a delight to show around people who totally get what we are doing
and understand what we are all about

We walked back through water street
where the bollards had been yarn bombed with guerrilla knitting

before heading back for one of Hilary’s fabulous vegan lunches.

All too soon it was time for them to go, but we will soon hear exciting news about another Incredible Edible Valley, IE Lee Valley is definitely on the cards so watch this space.

It has been a perfect day
