It was really cold today and the weather man warned of blizzards, but an intrepid group from Workers Education Association and the 2Up2Down community Bakery Liverpool weren’t put off coming to see IET
so the least we could do was give everyone some cake and a hot brew.

When Mary finished her presentation we had a really good Q&A and interesting discussions, including two invitations to speak in Liverpool. One from fab folk from the 2Up2Down community Bakery, a very exiting project. Mary of course agreed to go and visit when she could.
Next was a tour of the town centre, and although it was chilly the conversation was very warm and I think we all learned from each other.

We went back to the Bear Cafe where we said goodbye so that everyone could have lunch before catching the train back to Liverpool.
There’s always an incredible welcome for lovely folk like these.

it was boss.
