Bee Beeatific - No more eggscruciating egg puns. Now we've gone ape. Well, apiarian.

That's, of or pertaining to bees, my honeys.

Why are we such a hive of apiarian industry?

- Because Bee Spoke Todmorden is a finalist in the Jubilee People Millions, the competition to be broadcast on ITV on Wednesday June 29th.

We need your votes to win. Phone lines will be open on Wednesday from 9am to midnight, and you can vote up to ten times. Calls cost 10p from a standard land line, and more from mobiles.

The number to ring will be on our home page on the day, and also on the People's Millions website and in the Daily Mirror.

Please pass the news on to all the drones, workers and queens you know.

Bees are in trouble, yet for our ecology they're the bees' knees. Read more here:

Regular readers will know that many of our volunteers are already involved in bee-keeping. Read from early May Wes's account of being on the trail of the lost queen, or see his video of a swarm. When co-founder Paul isn't spreading the word around the world - here's his May blog about his travels and thoughts - he's back in Tod, bee-keeping. So please help us help bees.
