What's Cooking In Tod?
Local food means fresher food – tastier food – and you know where it’s come from.
Our volunteer gardeners are out once a fortnight working on the town centre beds.
After a couple of hours in the fresh air, we’re usually ravenous! So after our morning gardening on the third Sunday of the month, off we go to the Unitarian Church for a lovely vegan lunch cooked by our volunteers. We look forward to these opportunities to eat more of the food that we’ve grown.
We also do cooking demonstrations at community events such as the Harvest Festival
and our wonderful volunteers Hilary and Shirley can be found doing cooking demonstrations at the market once a month.
Why not take a look at some of the wonderful recipes in our What’s Cooking In Tod? blog. They range from Quince Jelly and Busy Woman’s Sausage Stew to good old-fashioned rhubarb crumble. Would you like to add your own recipe? Just email estelle@incredible-edible-todmorden.co.uk
